A sharp sideline of the Lemberger Countergambit in which White plays an early 4. Qh5, attacking e5; engines rate it as slightly favoring Black.
Train it in TheoriaAbout the Sneiders Attack
The Sneiders Attack, 4. Qh5, brings the queen out at once to hit the e5-pawn, rather than capturing on e5 or guarding d4. The early sortie concedes time, and the engine judges Black slightly better, favoring 4...Qxd4, 4...exd4 or 4...Nc6. In practice 4...exd4 is the most common reply, while the rarer 4...Nf6 has scored heavily for Black. Trappy lines involving Nd5 and a knight fork on c7 can catch unprepared opponents.
