Train it in TheoriaAbout the Nimzo-Dutch Variation
The Nimzo-Dutch Variation develops Black's king's bishop to b4 with check before White has committed the queen's knight, a check in the spirit of the Bogo-Indian Defense. White usually blocks with 5. Bd2, and the retreat 5...Be7 then forms the Alekhine Variation. The other replies are 5. Nd2 and 5. Nc3. The latter allows ...Bxc3 and doubled pawns, and Black scores comparatively well against it. The engine gives White a slight edge overall.
