Train it in TheoriaAbout the Nimzo-English
The Nimzo-English arises after 1. c4 Nf6 2. Nc3 e6 3. Nf3 Bb4. Black pins the c3-knight as in the Nimzo-Indian, contesting e4 and threatening to double White's pawns, but White has not yet committed the d-pawn. The most common reply is 4. g3. Next comes 4. Qc2, which prepares to recapture on c3 with the queen. 4. d4 transposes to the Nimzo-Indian Three Knights Variation, and the rare 4. g4 is the Zvjaginsev-Krasenkow Attack. Engines give White a slight edge.
