Train it in TheoriaAbout the Morozevich Variation
The Morozevich Variation, 3...Be7, is a waiting move. Black develops without fixing the pawn structure and tries to show that each White reply has a drawback. The main line 4. Ngf3 Nf6 5. e5 Nfd7 rules out f4. The alternative 4. Bd3 is considered more flexible and is best met by 4...c5. After 4. e5 c5, White chooses between a quiet 5. c3 and an aggressive 5. Qg4. The line takes its name from Alexander Morozevich.
