Train it in TheoriaAbout the Maltese Falcon
The Maltese Falcon is the branch of the Gibbins-Weidenhagen Gambit in which White, rather than playing 3. e4 at once, first attacks the knight on g4 with 3. f3 and only after 3...Nf6 occupies the center with 4. e4. White gets a d4–e4 pawn center for the gambit pawn. The f-pawn advance loosens the kingside, leaving an isolated h-pawn and a half-open g-file.
