Train it in TheoriaAbout the Oshima Defense
The Oshima Defense answers the Gibbins-Weidenhagen Gambit, also known as the Bronstein Gambit, with a central counter-thrust instead of taking the pawn or declining with 2...d5. After 2...e5 the knight on f6 still attacks g4, while Black's e-pawn challenges d4 and is itself unprotected. Both sides therefore have a pawn en prise. With material level and White to move, the play turns at once on how each side deals with the attacked pawns.
