Train it in TheoriaAbout the Bogoljubow Defense
The Bogoljubow Defense answers 3...Nf6 4. Nc3 with 4...c6, preparing ...d5 to gain time against the c4-bishop and contest e4 while keeping the extra f4-pawn. Engines rate the position as roughly balanced and prefer 5. Bb3, retreating in advance. In practice 5. e5, attacking the knight, is the most common reply, followed by 5. d4 and 5. Nf3. White scores well after 5. e5 and 5. Nf3, whereas Black does better against 5. d4.
