Train it in TheoriaAbout the Sörensen Gambit
The Sörensen Gambit arises from the Rosentreter Gambit, 4. d4, when White answers 4...g4 by moving the knight to e5. This keeps the piece instead of giving it up, as in the Testa Gambit, 5. Bxf4. Black usually checks with 5...Qh4+. After 6. g3 fxg3 7. Qxg4, the tempting 7...g2+ 8. Qxh4 gxh1=Q 9. Nc3 wins a rook but leaves Black's position precarious. Engines slightly favor Black, who also scores well in practice.
