Train it in TheoriaAbout the Pirc-Diemer Gambit
The Pirc-Diemer Gambit is a rare line of the Modern Defense against 1. d4. After 1. d4 g6 2. h4 Nf6, White plays 3. h5 and offers the h-pawn to open the h-file against Black's intended fianchetto. The usual answer is 3...Nxh5, which accepts the pawn. Recapturing with 3...gxh5 is less frequent, and declining with 3...Bg7 has scored very poorly for Black. Engines rate the position as roughly balanced.
