About the with Ne4

Known as the Dutch Variation, 6...Ne4 occupies the square both sides have been contesting. Black usually supports the knight with ...f5, giving a setup reminiscent of the Dutch Defense. The most common reply is 7. Qc2, adding pressure on e4, and 7. Bd2 is also seen. After 7. O-O f5, White can offer a pawn with 8. d5 to open diagonals for the bishops.
