Train it in TheoriaAbout the Bogoljubow Defense
The Bogoljubow Defense arises when White answers 4...a6 in the Showalter Variation of the Queen's Gambit Accepted with 5. e4, building a broad center instead of hurrying to recover c4. Black usually replies 5...b5, holding the extra pawn and turning the line into a genuine gambit. The engine considers this roughly balanced, and results are close. The rarer 5...e6 and 5...Bg4 return to development, and White scores better against both.
