Train it in TheoriaAbout the Anti-Cambridge Springs Variation
The Anti-Cambridge Springs Variation arises when White meets the Cambridge Springs setup of 4...Nbd7 and 5...c6 with 6. a3, still delaying Nf3 and ruling out the ...Bb4 pin that supports Black's ...Qa5 counterplay. Black most often returns to classical development with 6...Be7. The less common 6...Bd6 has scored poorly, while 6...Qa5 remains playable. The engine rates the position as roughly balanced.
