Train it in TheoriaAbout the Miladinovic Gambit
The Miladinovic Gambit answers the Charousek Variation with 4. e4, and after 4...dxe4 White offers a pawn with 5. f3. The aim is to open lines for rapid development and to establish central control. It is rarely seen. The usual reply is 5...Nf6, while capturing with 5...exf3 has scored well for Black in the few recorded games. The engine prefers the check 5...Bh4+, which targets the weakened e1–h4 diagonal, and rates Black slightly better.
