Train it in TheoriaAbout the Pseudo-Tarrasch Bishop Attack
The Pseudo-Tarrasch arises from 3. Nf3 c5, so Nc3 has not yet been played. After 4. cxd5 exd5, White uses this to play 5. Bg5 at once, attacking the queen on d8 before Black's kingside is developed. The usual reply is 5...Be7, with 5...f6 and 5...Nf6 also common. The engine prefers 5...Qa5+. The line is rarely seen, White scores well in it, and the engine gives White a slight edge.
