Train it in TheoriaAbout the Reversed Blumenfeld Gambit
The Reversed Blumenfeld Gambit, 4. b4, is the Blumenfeld Countergambit with colors reversed. White undermines the c5-pawn that supports d4. In the critical line 4...dxe3 5. fxe3 cxb4 6. d4, White gives up a pawn for a broad center and rapid development, while Black's extra b4-pawn is weak. The compensation is generally judged sufficient. Declining with 4...b6 is about as common. The engine rates the position as balanced, and White scores well in practice.
