About the Chinese Dragon

The Chinese Dragon, 10...Rb8, puts the rook behind the b-pawn rather than on the c-file, preparing to advance or sacrifice that pawn to open the b-file, and it sidesteps the main line 10...Rc8 11. Bb3 Ne5 12. Kb1. The most topical reply is 11. Bb3, which rules out an immediate pawn sacrifice. After 11...Na5 Black eyes ...Nc4 or ...Nxb3, and 12. Bh6 has largely replaced h4, leading to double-edged play. Online, 11. h4 is the most frequent choice.
