Train it in TheoriaAbout the Haag Gambit
The Haag Gambit arises when White, after 5. O-O Nc6 6. c3 Nf6, pushes 7. d4 immediately instead of first protecting the e-pawn, so that 7...Nxe4 wins a pawn. The engine regards accepting with 7...Nxe4 as fully adequate, though the more common reply is 7...cxd4, which releases the central tension first. White scores slightly better in practice, while the engine assesses the position as roughly balanced.
