About the Anti-English

6...Ng4 attacks the e3-bishop at once, aiming to trade it and disrupt White's plan of f3, Qd2 and O-O-O. Because ...a6 is already in, there is no Bb5+ to punish the knight sortie as in the Dragon. The most common reply, 7. Bg5, keeps the bishop and later reroutes it to g3. 7. Bc1 can lead to a repetition, or play may go 7. Bc1 Nf6 8. Bg5 e6, transposing to another line. 7. Qd2 concedes the bishop pair and scores less well for White.
