Train it in TheoriaAbout the Rauzer Attack
The Rauzer Attack comes from the Classical Variation of the Richter-Rauzer. With the kings castled on opposite wings, White adds 9. f4, forming an e4-f4 pawn front that supports a later e5 or a kingside advance. Black replies 9...Nxd4, trading off White's centralized knight. After the usual recapture 10. Qxd4, the white queen sits on d4 and bears down on d6. The line is reached only rarely.
