Train it in TheoriaAbout the Grünfeld Gambit
The Grünfeld Gambit arises from the 6. dxc5 branch of the Tarrasch Defense. After 6...d4 7. Na4, Black declines the main line 7...Bxc5 and plays 7...b5 instead, attacking the knight on the rim. White stays a pawn up, while Black aims for queenside space, quick development and pressure from the advanced d4-pawn. The line is a rare sideline compared with the bishop recapture.
