Train it in TheoriaAbout the Billockus-Johansen Gambit
The Billockus-Johansen Gambit, 2...Bc5, develops the bishop to an active diagonal aimed at f2 but leaves the e5-pawn undefended against the knight on f3. The capture 3. Nxe5 is the most common reply and the engine's first choice, and the engine rates White's position as clearly better. In online play, though, Black scores slightly better than White after the capture. White can also decline with 3. e4 or 3. e3, and the latter scores well for White.
