Train it in TheoriaAbout the Myers Attack
The Myers Attack meets Black's fianchetto setup in the Van Geet Opening with an immediate 2. h4, intending h5 to pry at the g6 pawn and open the h-file. Black usually ignores the threat with 2...Bg7. The blocking 2...h5 is less common but scores well for Black. The engine rates the position as balanced and prefers central replies such as 2...d5, 2...c5 or 2...Nc6. The line is rare.
