Train it in TheoriaAbout the Hamppe-Muzio Gambit
In the Hamppe-Muzio Gambit, White meets 5...g4 with 6. O-O and leaves the f3-knight to be captured, as in the Muzio Gambit of the King's Gambit. After 6...gxf3, White is a piece and a pawn down but has the half-open f-file, faster development and pressure on f7. 7. Qxf3 is played in the large majority of games, while 7. d4 and 7. Bxf7+ are rare. The engine rates Black clearly better, yet White scores well in practice.
