Quelle Gambit

The Quelle Gambit, 3...Bc5 4. fxe5 d6, meets the Vienna Gambit with a counter-gambit. Black lets the e5-pawn go and develops the bishop onto the a7-g1 diagonal, which f4 has weakened. The ...d6 push then offers a further pawn to open lines. White ends up a pawn ahead with doubled e-pawns. The usual reply is 5. exd6, with 5. Nf3 and 5. d4 as the alternatives. The engine rates the position as roughly balanced, and Black scores well in practice.
