About the Frankenstein-Dracula Variation

The Frankenstein-Dracula Variation, named by Tim Harding, is a forcing branch of 3...Nxe4 4. Qh5. After 10...b6 White is a rook up, but the a8-knight is usually lost, leaving roughly the exchange. In return Black has a development lead, active knights and space, while White's queen stands exposed. White chooses between 11. Nxb6, the main line according to Carsten Hansen, the older 11. d3, and 11. Qf3.
