About the Charousek Gambit Accepted

After 4. d3 Nf6, White accepts the Charousek Gambit by capturing with 5. dxe4. White is briefly two pawns up, but the e4-pawn lacks support. Black almost always recovers it at once with 5...Nxe4, getting a centralized knight and quick development in return for White's extra d5-pawn. The bishop move 5...Bc5 is a much rarer try. The engine gives White a slight edge, though practical results are close to even.
