Train it in TheoriaAbout the Sveshnikov-Jansa Attack
The Sveshnikov-Jansa Attack replaces the 150 Attack's 5. Qd2 with 5. h3. This prophylactic move takes the g4 square from Black's minor pieces, ruling out ...Ng4 against the e3-bishop and the ...Bg4 pin of the Inner Doll Defense. Black most often continues with the queenside expansion 5...b5, and 5...Bg7 and 5...Nbd7 are the main alternatives. The line is uncommon. White scores well in it, and engines give White a slight edge.
