Train it in TheoriaAbout the Delayed Keres Attack
The Delayed Keres Attack, also known as the Perenyi Attack, arises mainly from the Najdorf move order. White's bishop already stands on e3 and Black's pawn on a6 when 7. g4 starts the kingside pawn storm, usually backed by Qd2 and O-O-O. The critical reply 7...e5 hits the d4-knight and the g4-pawn. With Bb5+ unavailable, 8. Nf5 g6 9. g5 leads to the sharp Perenyi Gambit. On Lichess 7...Be7 is most common, and the engine rates the position as balanced.
